The squid!

On Monday Miss Lepou brought a squid in for us to look at.  We got to touch the squid and learn about the different parts of it.  It was very exciting.  Here are some photos:

We had a lot of fun dissecting the squid. We thought Miss Mac was very brave for cutting the squid. It was amazing how the squid's beak looked like a bird's beak!

How exciting, your pictures are super. I was interested to hear how the squid felt when you touched it, I have never touched a raw squid. Next time I eat calamari rings I will think of you A3!

You have a lot of fun in A3 and A4. I would have liked to see you cut up the squid because it looked so interesting. A1 enjoyed looking at your pictures.

We watched a video of a squid and we learned that it blows out ink so no one can eat it.
